PrioritizeAmerica

Democratizing Legislative Transparency

PrioritizeAmerica is a non-partisan, public-interest diagnostic platform designed to put the raw voting records, party alignment, and bipartisan matches of U.S. Congress members directly into the hands of the electorate.

Our Foundational Principles

100% Non-Partisan

We maintain absolute neutrality. We do not endorse politicians, support agendas, or rank officials with subjective qualitative grades. We let clean statistical data speak for itself.

Data-Driven Diagnostics

Every policy radar slice, crossover index, and alliance connection is generated using official public records. We replace political narratives with verifiable mathematical facts.

Public Ingestion API

We extract, normalize, and parse our raw records directly from the official **United States Congress API**, ensuring 100% data authenticity with zero third-party editorial filters.

Understanding the Diagnostics

PrioritizeAmerica features sophisticated diagnostic tools calculated on a rolling 24-hour cache schedule to help make legislative behaviors transparent and legible:

Topic Specialization (Radar Diagram)

Measures a representative's voting frequency and "Yea/Aye" support rates across 6 standard policy categories (e.g. *Economy & Taxes*, *Military*, *Crime & Justice*, *Environment*, *Government*, and *Civil Rights*).

Consensus Parameters (Loyalty & Aisle Crossing Rings)

Party Loyalty: Analyzes how frequently an individual votes in alignment with the majority of their own party.
Aisle Crossing (Crossover): Calculates the percentage of times a representative votes in agreement with the opposing party's majority when breaking own-party ranks.

Coalition Networks (Voting Alliances)

An advanced co-voting match engine that cross-references a representative's votes against all 539 other members to compute their top 4 same-party and top 4 opposing-party voting allies.

Roadmap

Future Expansion Scope

While PrioritizeAmerica currently indexes federal vote diagnostics for the **119th U.S. Congress**, our objective is to scale transparency to every tier of legislation. We are currently mapping pipelines for:

State Assemblies

Extending our voting index to individual state senates and assemblies to shed light on local statehouses.

Municipal Councils

Ingesting voting records from city councils and county supervisors to audit town and municipal policy groups.

Historical Archives

Archiving past congressional voting cycles (118th, 117th, and older) to chart decades-long careers and policy shifts.
